          A few of these repeat from another list. Here is the funny part about our Bible. Paul uses a stoic poem about Zeus "In him we live and breath and have our..." to talk about Jesus. For me there are plenty of people who may or may not know my Jesus but still write things that are conduits for my connection to Him.

          doesn't it seem kinda odd to assume that just because someone is not a dyed in the wool christian, that they don't know jesus.. or at least make an effort to emulate him?

          even if you are a fence sitter.. i think the idea of emulation is at least a good starting point..

          another thing to think about.. jesus's teachings are in most cases things that people REALLY already know, if they thought about it..

          where does that knowledge come from?

          Nice list. I do the same thing with some of those songs. I also sometimes take a "secular" song I really like like the music to and make up my own "worship" lyrics for it.
